This policy describes how Angelo Ruiz handles information collected through angeloruiz.com, a personal portfolio and IT consulting website. It covers browsing, contact inquiries, subscription requests and advertising where enabled. For privacy questions, contact info@angeloruiz.com.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, with optional phone and subject fields. This information is sent by email so I can respond to your inquiry, discuss potential work and maintain relevant business correspondence. A subscription request provides your email address to request updates; submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you. Please do not send passwords, payment information or sensitive client records through these forms.

Technical information and analytics

The hosting provider may record standard access and error logs, including IP address, requested URL, time, browser information and response status. These records support site delivery, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. This version of the website does not include a separate Google Analytics tracking tag. If analytics is introduced, this policy will be updated to identify the provider, data collected and available choices before that tracking is enabled.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

Where Google AdSense advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Service providers and external links

Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver this website and handle inquiries. Contact messages are delivered through an email service rather than published on the site. The site also loads some images from external hosts, which receive network requests from your browser. Links to LinkedIn, Aileron Systems, LifeSafetyAI and the WordPress blog take you to services with their own privacy practices. I do not sell contact form information or share it with advertisers for targeting.

Retention, security and requests

Inquiries and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to respond, conduct business and meet applicable recordkeeping needs. Hosting log retention follows the hosting provider's settings. Access is limited to the people and providers needed to operate the site and handle communications. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee complete security.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of information you submitted, or ask to stop receiving updates, by emailing info@angeloruiz.com. I may need to verify your request and retain records required for legal or business obligations. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Children and policy updates

This site is intended for professional and general educational use and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact me so it can be addressed. Material changes to these practices will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
